Love from a Two Storey Window
Overlooking the terraced garden. I can see her bathing in the rays of the sun. Elliptical lights play in her hair, brilliant and dazzling. Refreshing scenes splash across the patio stones.
It was always us. Always them. Transposing across muted funeral pyres in the darkness. Sleepless goats who wallowed in the Shire as it were. Dreamless and sleepless. Little pig monkey that rode my back for years. Set free by the Host of Heaven. Set free by your love.
It wasn’t what my mother wanted for me. It wasn’t what anyone wanted. Destiny cannot be denied and neither can our Creator. Sometimes I just like to ramble.
