Running to stand still

Star date blah blah blah.

This is my blog and I can post the unvarnished truth if I want to. Or at least, the truth as I have perceived it.

There are those of you at this very moment, running to stand still. You cover your life with such busyness, that the only freedom you see to achieve is when you have a cup of coffee/tea in hand and escape with me for a moment on the train ride. Would you say that was a fair assessment?

Do not be discouraged, I do not intend to tel the world that it is YOU. It will be our little secret. Okay?

I will share the Gospel and my prayers. Dreams of a different kind grace these pages and here, just maybe you will find rest. If you are not a believer, that is okay, I do love you. I love you as you are and as your are to become.

If you are a believer, perhaps sitting on the fence, don’t worry, He has a great plan for you. Just you. Trust me.

This song is just for you. My prayers are yours as well. One day there will be freedom. One day, you will know that I never lied to you.

And so she woke up
Woke up from where she was lying still
Said I gotta do something about where we’re going
Step on a steam train
Step out of the driving rain
Maybe run from the darkness in the night
Singing ha, ah la la la de day
Ah la la la de day
Ah la la de day

Sweet the sin
Bitter, the taste in my mouth
I see seven towers
But I only see one way out
You got to cry without weeping
Talk without speaking
Scream without raising your voice
You know I took the poison from the poison stream
Then I floated out of here
Singing ha la la la de day
Ha la la la de day
Ha la la de day

She runs through the streets with her eyes painted red
Under a black belly of cloud in the rain
In through a doorway
She brings me white gold and pearls
Stolen from the sea she is raging, she is raging
And the storm blows up in her eyes
She will suffer the needle chill
She’s running to stand still~ U2
